Aromatherapy Programme - Ref J

Aromatherapy is the age old practise of using essential oils to achieve both physical and psychological benefits. The syllabus embraces the standards set down for membership of all leading associations and the Institute of Complementary Medicine.

This course covers the history and development of aromatherapy, therapeutic properties of essential oils, blending of essential oils, use, care and storage of oils, chemical composition, safety data and toxicity of oils, consultation, contra-indication to treatment and comprehensive aromatherapy massage to include face, scalp and body.

Qualifications Available

• VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Aromatherapy

Extra Option: ITEC Diploma in Aromatherapy

Course Timetable

Course enrolment is normally offered in September, January and April. Other dates may be available.
Courses are normally offered on a Part Time and Full Time basis.
Classes are available during Days, Evenings and Weekends.

Students must already hold a level 3 Anatomy, Physiology and Massage qualification.
